There are various forms of collaborative research between companies and universities, but this section introduces ” collaborative research by each laboratory and researcher basis”.
Collaborative research by laboratories and researchers is a one-off collaborative research project in which companies and universities mutually provide researchers, research funds, research facilities, etc., and set a specific research theme in cooperation with the faculty member or laboratory in charge.
When aiming to launch a collaborative research project with a company, etc., negotiations may be facilitated more smoothly and concretely by disclosing confidential research information held by both the University and the company on the condition of confidentiality (signing a nondisclosure agreement).

The period and budget will be determined through discussions with the researcher.
The period and budget will vary depending on the research content, but in the case of feasibility studies in exploratory research, the estimated period is about one year and 2-5 million yen.
Inventions resulting from collaborative research with companies will be shared between the companies and the University in principle, depending on the level of contribution to the invention.
